Hey there, you Radiant Mama!

We've been waiting for you! This is your space to glow, learn, laugh, connect and thrive. This is your new mama tribe.

My Experience is my Own

My Experience is my Own

The second you find out you are pregnant, you can expect to be bombarded with STRONG opinions. Most come from very well intentioned folks but still, the avalanche of beliefs can be overwhelming. I learned, after some experience, to say either out loud or in my mind, "that is your experience; mine will be my own". It sounds so obvious but a pregnant mind can be a bit of an anxiety filled black hole. It was empowering to realize that just because a person experienced a situation, it did not mean that would I would do the same ( sharers of unsolicited delivery horror stories to pregnant mamas, I'm looking directly at ya).

My experience is my own, just as your experience is your own. Not one is better than the other, not one is worse than the other. The experience is simply my own.
